Its body is a long, unsegmented tube with a mouth surrounded by lips at one end. Between the gut and the body wall lies a fluid-filled pseudocoel, and the sexes are separate.
Showing a male and a female side by side makes the differences clear. In the female, paired ovaries lead through oviducts and uteri to a vagina that opens at the female pore. In the male, a single testis leads through the vas deferens and seminal vesicle to the ejaculatory duct, and penial spicules near the tail help in mating.
