How the model is used in teaching
The elbow is where the humerus of the upper arm meets the ulna and radius of the forearm. The hinge between the humerus and ulna bends and straightens the arm, while the head of the radius can spin in place. That spin turns the forearm so the palm faces up or down, the movements called supination and pronation.
